This is a web site dedicated to the self build of our new house 'Apuljack'.
The first question you are asking is "Why the strange spelling". Well, when we bought the plot we were not aware that all the houses down our road were named rather than numbered. The local authority told us that we had to have a name before we could register the plot! We had no idea what to call the house so decided on the following:-
Paul (swap first letters round) -> apul + Jackie (friends call her jack) -> jack = Apuljack
This name is quite handy as it represents cider to a lot of people which is indicative of the West Country and one of Jackie's favourites!!
